Cory dreamed of starting his own food truck for years. In 2025, with guidance from his mentor Mike, he made it happen.
While still working at a car dealership by day, Cory launched Sluggers Grill as a part-time venture. Setting up at Smugglers Island Pub in Palm Harbor, the truck quickly built a loyal following.
The goal? Grow from one location to many, and eventually make Sluggers Grill a full-time career.
